Job Title: SERVICE MANAGER
Location: Atlus Pest Solutions – Madison,Alabama & Memphis, Tennessee
Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s licenseand respectable driving record, be able to sit or walk for extended periods andthe spatial ability to navigate to and from customer homes, periodicallycrouch/crawl for up to 2 hours consecutively, able to lift up to 20 poundsfrequently and 50 pounds periodically, able to pull up to 20 pounds occasionally,and be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the GeneralManager
Supervises: Route Managers, Start Techs, TermiteTechnicians
Job Summary:
This person is expectedto have a solid understanding of the proper way to treat a customer’s homewhile providing G.R.E.A.T customer service and be knowledgeable about the useof all equipment (sprayers, etc..) and vehicle operation. This person mayalso be responsible for delivering product and picking up materials asneeded. In addition, this person must be able to effectively communicatewith the office, Route Managers, technicians, and customersprofessionally.
Essential Functions:
· Train new start techs inG.R.E.A.T customer service and reinforce initial learning with regularperformance reviews (may take various forms)
· Train termitetechnicians on steps required to treat homes effectively while deliveringG.R.E.A.T customer service.
· Complete the FormalTruck Inspection Form – weekly
· Spend a minimum of 2full days performing a Ride-Along a month with each Route Manager on yourassigned team or eight (8) hours monthly with each Route Manager conductingRide-A long’s and Informal Truck Inspections
· Prepare/Perform aminimum of 1 Ghost inspection a month
· Prepare and Build routes30 days in advance each month
· Complete bi-yearlyreviews in July and January
· Submit RMRide-Along/Informal Truck Inspection Forms, Formal Truck Inspection Forms, andperformance appraisals to Human Resources for review and filing
· Perform necessarycallbacks/routes when adequate coverage is not available
· Report weekly trackingnumbers to the General Manager by 9:00 AM each Monday: # of Ride-A longs, ghostinspections, and customer compliments
· Get Route Managers readyfor the day including:
· Prepare Atlus Days forthe third week of each Month
· Assist withinterviewing, candidate selection, and new hire paperwork
· Communicate effectivelywith office, co-workers, and customers
Marginal Functions:
· Track inventory oftechnician supplies
· Maintain and restockproduct room
· Order, deliver, or pickup technician supplies as necessary
· Track non-pros andreschedule as necessary
· Perform or assist withtermite treatments
Other:
· Manually load and unloadproduct onto and off of truck
· Operate various types ofequipment used to treat the interior and exterior of the home (sprayers)
· Safely handle allproducts used for treatment
· Effectively navigate tocustomer locations
· Complete writteninvoices and related documentation following each inspection
· Walk on uneven terrain(up to 2 hours continuously), crouch (up to 2 hours continually), climb (asneeded), and lift (up to 50 pounds) to maintain the vehicle, treat homes, andaccess both the vehicle and customer attics and crawl spaces
· Ability to look up andreach overhead for extended periods for up to 1 hour continuously(de-webbing/inspections)
· Use various types ofrigging to secure products in vehicles during transport
· Clean, maintain, andfuel vehicle
Contextual Information:
Will be held solely accountable and responsiblefor all work performed. Most responsibilities will occur in a well-lit outdoorenvironment, however temperature and weather extremes should beanticipated.
SupplementaryInformation- Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids (MTEWA) required for completion of function

Minimum Qualifications:
· Successful completion ofpost-hire paperwork, including SSN verification, and drug, MVR, and criminalbackground screening
· Authorization to worklegally in the United States
· Valid driver’s licensewith a respectable driving record
· High school diploma, orequivalent
· Ability to attain orcurrent CO7 certification
· Available to workvarying schedules, Monday – Saturday 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
· The ability to read,legibly write, and complete basic mathematic computations, verbal instructions,and hand drawings
· The desire to learn andthe eagerness to accept other tasks and learning opportunities as they presentthemselves
